Joint Fill

Concrete joints are an important component for your facility. Handling joints correctly will make or break your concrete. Filled joints are the difference between dealing with costly concrete repairs and keeping your operations running smoothly.

Joint Info

Concrete expands and shrinks with temperature changes…

Unfilled joints

If the building owner does not fill the joints, damage will occur over time. Climate control will help to a degree.

Heavy Traffic

Heavy traffic such as forklifts will eventually cause damage to joints that have not been filled.

…Especially in loading bays where climate control can greatly fluctuate while the doors are open.

Joint fill works as a stabilizer so edges don’t break

Joint fill works as a stabilizer so edges don’t break with heavy traffic such as forklift loading and unloading. Joint fill also protects the dirt from being sucked out when the floor is being cleaned.

We use joint fill or joint caulking to support adjacent concrete edges which prevents spalling and damage. It’s a two component self-leveling semi-rigid polyurea joint filler.
